Empowering Vulnerable Mothers

Mothers Heart, Cambodia: Mother’s Heart is catering to the needs of extremely vulnerable women and girls facing crisis pregnancies in Cambodia. They not only provide antenatal and postnatal health care and counseling, but they also provide pathways for these women to be reconciled with their families, to learn vocational skills and to become financially independent.

One way they support these women is to provide childcare opportunities so that they can be empowered to work while they carry the responsibility of being single parents.

Mother’s Heart has a new partnership with a local early learning centre, where 10 children from their program can be cared for while their mothers work or attend vocational training.

$12,000 will cover fees for these children for 6 months. All donations are tax deductible. .
