Education for Refugee Children
ZOEH PROJECT + PERRY, THAILAND: Tim and Bronwyn are training refugee parents to form their own homeschooling co-ops, resourcing them with the training and equipment necessary to teach their own children and thus provide skills today and a hope for the future.
Thailand has over 100,000 registered refugees.
They come from a very vulnerable position, they arrive in Thailand and remain very vulnerable and without an education, many will remain very vulnerable when they finally arrive in their third country. Those they work with can be waiting 10 years or longer to be able to move on to their third country. During this long wait children are often confined to their small apartment room and unable to access education.
Tim and Bronwyn plan to train and provide regular coaching for 60 parents and resource the education of 200 refugee children and youth who have not had the opportunity to complete a basic education.
The total cost of this project is $30,800. All Donations are Tax Deductible.
