Caring for the Carers

INTERNATIONAL RELIEF: Healthy communities rely on healthy families. When families break down, children suffer. When society breaks down, children suffer. It is always the children, the most vulnerable, who suffer.

ACCI has been working to care for children since its inception. We have Project Partners working in incredibly complex, isolated, and challenging environments where supporting children is difficult: conflict zones, political upheaval, economic challenges, or a lack of resources. Whatever the situation, the result is children who suffer.

Several projects rely on social workers to support children and families in these situations. ACCI uses a small network of technical experts (located in Africa, Asia, and Australia) who regularly meet with social workers to provide ongoing support and care. This is one small drop in a vast ocean of need, but with your help, these drops are creating ripples of change, and together, we can support healthy communities by supporting healthy families.

$7,250 will provide vital and ongoing social worker support for case workers caring for vulnerable children. All donations are tax deductible.
