Toilets for Primary School
SEPHEO, LESOTHO: Sepheo started their work 9 years ago with children who were living on the street away from their families and with no chance of reengaging with education. Through their day school program specifically designed to support children who have been living on the street they are able to ensure that the child completes primary school as well as reengages with living at home (or in alternative community care with an adult caregiver)
Currently the boys share a pit latrine and the girls have one toilet that is shared with the staff. The construction of a toilet block would provide better hygiene and privacy for the students and staff on site.
$33 335 can fund a toilet block for Sepheo school. This project is tax deductible.
