Food Relief Sri Lanka

BETHEL IN HABARANA, SRI LANKA: Sharon and Jerome Serpanchy are field workers in Sri Lanka providing early childhood education for children in Habarana. Due to the ongoing political and economic crisis in Sri Lanka there is a great need for additional support for vulnerable children to increase their food security. Food inflation is currently at 93% year on year and the WHO estimates that 15% of children under 5 are suffering from malnutrition and 6.3 million people are facing moderate to severe acute food insecurity.

This project will support 100 children in Sri Lanka with a nutrition pack every month for the next 6 months to get them through the worst of this crisis.$30 can fund a nutritious food pack for a month for one child.

We are hoping to fund $18,000 to support all 100 children for 6 months. This project is tax deductible.
