Church Planting Operations Base
GEBERTS, JAPAN: Eugene and Fiona Gebert are pioneering a new church – Wakuwaku Life Church in Fukuoka, Japan. Their vision is to reach out to all people in their community, from whatever cultural, subcultural and socio-economic group. A venue or operations base is critical for the church to minister effectively. The building is used to conduct life changing services, Bible study groups, outreach English classes and community-connection events such as English parties and games/video nights. They also run a food ministry to help those who are experiencing homelessness or have very low economic means.
Eugene and Fiona need to be able to secure rent for the next 12 months, as well as raise additional finances in saving for a deposit for purchasing a ministry facility for the long term. Their 12-month goal is $ 33,000, or $2,750 monthly.
