Church Plant
NAKANISHI, JAPAN: Penny is serving in Hirakawa City, in the north of Japan. She planted Hirakawa Grace Church in April 2014. Since then, she has been reaching out into her community through the church’s English school, the Gospel Choir ministry and other regular outreaches.
In December 2021 an unprecedented financial miracle allowed the church to miraculously purchase, renovate & occupy Hirakawa City’s first permanent church building. Only one thing remains, to paint the roof and fix the ceiling leak in the children’s playroom.
These two projects cannot be put off as they experience heavy winter snows. The painting of the roof with a protective cover is absolutely essential to ensure no permanent damage is done to the roof from the snow. Getting the playroom ceiling fixed is also essential due to the high humidity in the summer months that can cause mould. Please consider donating to these two urgent and essential projects. We need $AU 5,500 for the roof repainting and $AU 3,500 for the playroom ceiling leak.
