Vehicle purchase for an AOG Pakistan senior pastor
HILLS, Secure Location: $7700 will help buy a car for a senior AOG pastor in a country where Christians are discriminated against.
Driving home with his son from visiting a church member one evening in June, this senior pastor was stopped in a dark street by several men with guns. The pastor and his son made the wise decision not to resist but allow their vehicle to be stolen. Attempts have been made to recover the stolen vehicle, but without success.
This pastor, in his early sixties, has oversight of 26 churches, and is the chairman of the AOG in this country. With no vehicle, he borrowed a motorbike to get to meetings and fulfill his duties. But he really needs a car. $8000 has already been raised towards the cost of a replacement vehicle. $7700 still needs to be found. He is buying a second-hand car, but costs are extremely high, even for second-and third hand vehicles, because of the taxes placed on them
Giving today will ensure that a senior leader in the AOG will have a vehicle, enabling him to fulfil his responsibilities as a pastor, leader and missions coordinator. Thank you for your donations. Donations to this project are not tax deductible.
