Empowering Women at Sisterhood Conference

KLAR, Thailand: Erik and Mariaana Klar, along with the River.Asia team, are deeply committed to empowering the women of Southeast Asia, not only by introducing them to Jesus as their Lord and Savior but also by fostering a strong sense of worth, value, and purpose within them.

One of the ways the River.Asia team facilitates this is by running annual Sisterhood conferences all across the nation of Thailand. The Sisterhood conferences are designed to create an atmosphere for women to encounter God in a transformative way, to connect with a local community of women, and to empower them to bring the light of Jesus to those around them. The Annual Sisterhood conference will be held in 4 locations during the month of November. Hangdong, Chiang Mai; Khon Kaen Eastern Thailand; Bangkok; Sungai Kolok Deep South Thailand. These conferences serve as an outreach to bring the love and hope of Jesus to women from all walks of life, particularly those who come from different religious backgrounds and who may be vulnerable, disadvantaged, and facing poverty.

We have faith that over 350 women will attend the Sisterhood conferences! Our heart is that as many women as possible will be able to attend these life- changing conferences. We will be sponsoring ladies to come from all over Thailand, even the most remote mountainside communities because we know that Jesus’ heart is for the one.
